Vancouver Birth Doula

I work as a both a birth doula and birth photographer in clients homes and in hospitals in Vancouver, BC. I specialise in home births and have a birth pool as part of my client’s packages to help ease the discomfort of childbirth.

Before your birth, I have two educational prenatal visits in your home where we talk about what to expect during your birth, in Vancouver, with your care provider. I help you formulate a birth plan that reflects your wishes and how you want to be treated during your birth. I am on call day and night ready for when you need assistance. I stay with you and your partner during all phases of your birth until you are comfy and ready to go to sleep with your new little baby.

My clients love the doula support during their births but they also love the professional birth images. I include with my birth doula package 5 professional images from your baby’s birth, with the option to upgrade to a larger package. Having the clear crisp images after your birth to remember the day your baby was born is something you will cherish forever. Not only do you get to remember the journey your family went through to bring your baby into this world, you get to see the reactions of the people in the room when your baby was born, trust me you won’t be taking it all in you will be focused on your baby. Your baby gazing into your eyes for the first time, Your birth partners expression when your baby was taking its first breath, what your baby truly looked like in the first moments of their life, these are all memories that are easily forgotten.
